## ABU Robocon Disc-Throwing Robot

**Category:** ROBOTICS | 2017

Built with a student team for the 2017 ABU Robocon challenge, The Landing Disc. The robot combined a repeatable high-speed disc launcher with motor control and operator input to knock balls from seven raised spots and land discs on them, aiming for the match-ending Appare victory.

## Real-Time Face Detection

## Genomics Analysis Platform

A self-hosted genomics analysis platform that accepted raw FASTQ files and ran configurable pipelines for trimming, alignment, variant calling, metagenomic classification, and genome assembly. FastAPI and a Redis-backed Celery queue scheduled containerised Nextflow jobs across the server, with inputs and results kept on shared NTFS storage. Each successful pipeline sent a signed completion acknowledgement to a webhook, allowing dependent jobs to start automatically.
